Shakira is trying to get over an ex and she’s calling on Rihanna for a little help. Unfortunately, RiRi’s having problems of her own in that department.
On the new ska-influenced single, “Can’t Remember to Forget You,” Shakira talks about the man she can’t get off her mind singing, “When you look at me/ My only memory/ Is us kissing in the moonlight.”
Never one to play coy, Rihanna joins in to talk about her “selective memory” over a guy she shouldn’t go back to, telling Shakira, “I go back again/Fall off the train/Land in his bed/Repeat yesterday’s mistakes.”
In a recent interview with Glamour, Shakira said working with RiRi, who she recently filmed “was utopia.”
